Save Rose Creek

Our vision is for lower Rose Creek to be an open space park providing recreational and learning opportunities and a clean, healthy, aesthetically pleasing environment for residents, visitors, businesses, and native plants and animals, while serving as an accessible link for bicyclists and pedestrians to move between Rose Canyon Park, Marian Bear Park, Mission Bay Park, and surrounding communities.

Enjoy the Winter Solstice at Rose Creek

Friday, December 22 From 3 PM to 5 PM Winter Solstice on the Creek

Take a break from shopping and get to know your neighbors.

Join the Friends of Rose Creek as we enjoy the sunset and take a moment to enjoy the darkest day of the year and celebrate the
lengthing of the coming days. Have fun exploring the lower creek, bird watching, and learning about the history of the creek.

If you or your family have a ritual for this time of year, please share it with us as we take a moment out of our busy lives to learn more about the creek and this incredible community.

Please bring a seashell for each person.** This will be an easy hike about one and a half miles round trip.
